Here’s to the modern day, and the hope that lives lost due to this project are way more few and far between. Too many rushed projects cost the lives of scientists and astronauts alike. If it weren’t for the Space Race, perhaps more brilliant minds would be alive to give input today. People are still being burnt out and left to dry, but at least there’s some kind of a moral compass. The attitude towards these advancements hasn’t really changed it’s still a very competitive environment save for the inhuman, fast pace expected of all the “lowly” and incredibly intelligent workers. There was the creation of the United States’ Space Force and of course the creation of SpaceX, which all center around cosmological and aeronautical technical advancements. However, it seems today that the influence of this marathon lingers still today. On par with Douglas Adams - Readcommendations Cal Carver and his Space Team may have lost their ship, but they havent lost their knack for attracting. didn’t want to best the Russians and leave their mark on the Moon. Normally a single ship only consumes 1 unit of fuel every few jumps, but 2 ships mean twice the fuel use. The downside is that your fuel cost doubles. It can be pretty tough to beat most ships 1v1, but if it's 2v1 it's a piece of cake. We truly would not be where we were today if the U.S. Currently the big advantage of multiple ships is doubling your firepower. Never in my life had I seen something as petty on such a national scale as the Space Race.
